The first art collection by Shuichi Kusamori, an animation art director.
He handled the landscape depictions for "Innocence" (based on the work by Masamune Shirow, directed by Mamoru Oshii), "Metropolis" (based on the work by Osamu Tezuka, screenplay by Katsuhiro Otomo, directed by Rintaro), "X - The Movie" (based on the work by CLAMP, directed by Rintaro), and the "PSYCHO-PASS" series, which were not reflections of real-life cityscapes or nature, but were drawn as imaginary landscapes to build the worldviews of SF and fantasy.
Shuichi Kusamori has conveyed fictional worlds with overwhelming realism.
This book is the first art collection to comprehensively include Shuichi Kusamori's animation art works from the past 40 years.
In addition to the art from a wide range of works such as "Innocence," "Metropolis," "X - The Movie," the "PSYCHO-PASS" series, "Infini-T Force," "Divine Gate," "Patlabor the Movie," and "GHOST IN THE SHELL," it also includes novel illustrations and original newly drawn works.
