DISCLOSURE: I'm getting rid of this due to occasional Windows 10 blue screen reboots while sitting. Updating the driver didn't help, so I used it as an excuse to upgrade after 9 years without investigating further. Maybe Windows solely be Windowing. Maybe it'll set your house on fire. Who can say what the future will hold?

Windows users: BEFORE CONNECTING DEVICE, install the official driver from Focusrite,com. Mac users don't need a special driver.

You may hear fuzzy noise while adjusting volume knob. This is normal for this model and will not be present in recordings. Quickly rotating the knob back and forth can help clear out dust as it accumulates, but you honestly just acquire used to it.
