Jefferson Golden Secret Clock

This interesting item with it’s Mid Century Modern/Art Deco design is very special. While you’ll see many Jefferson Golden Hour clocks the Golden Secret has the rare square shape and is free of glass completely.It is cast iron with 24 k gold plating. Far less common than the often seen Golden Hour clock. The numbers are represented by golden dots.The hands are mounted on a curved tube. It was invented by Jans Walma. This piece first appeared in the the mid 1950’s.The clock is electric and does work and keeps pretty good time.
