Application 8L45 Transmission

DT-51088 is a set of 3 tools that correctly installs and compresses the 4 solid Teflon seals to the turbine shaft to stator shaft support .

DT-51088-3 is a 8.5" long 1.4" OD smooth tube with an adjustable depth stop-rod that goes over the shaft and protects the 4 seals from damage as they slide down the turbine shaft.

DT-51088-2 has expandable fingers that snug fit the protector and evenly push the seals down the protector into their respective grooves on the turbine shaft without over-expanding the seals.

DT-51088-1 has a tapered ID that gradually compresses the seals to the correct OD so they slide inside the center support without being nicked or cut.
