The little pansies are floating amidst green leaves on the body of the bowl. The curved pastel green handles and loop knob on the lid enhance the whimsy of the pattern. The edge of the lid is notched for a spoon but a spoon is not included. The edge of the lid is topped off by a braided rope edge.
The upper edge of the bowl displays the saying: "presently in a cottage built of lilacs and laughter, I know the meaning of the words 'ever after"
