She didn't have the heart to look at it anymore after she was gone, so she stored it away in her basement. Therefore... It may have a slight smell of dirt/mold. The clarinet doesn't smell to me, but the sheet music does. The clarinet may have some dust/dirt on it from being stored for so long, but it appears to be in good condition. I'm not sure it it works because I don't know how to use it.
