For sale here is a brand new, un-opened 40W Electric De-soldering iron with pump of the MPJA brand.I myself am using one of this make and model and have used it for many years without any problems.It has a three prong AC power plug. The metal body, housing the heater is grounded. You may see in picture three that the resistance between the metal housing and earth (ground) pin of the AC plug is around 4 to 5 ohms.When you run it for the first time you may see white fumes coming out of it. It will stop after about 30min. This is normal and will happen in any new soldering or de-soldering iron when it is turned on for the very first time.
